Nationwide Protests Challenge Musk’s Political Role

San Francisco witnessed one of the largest gatherings, as hundreds assembled outside the Tesla showroom on Van Ness Avenue. The protest, co-organized by advocacy group Planet Over Profit, included prominent figures such as State Senator Scott Wiener. In his address, Wiener accused Musk of holding disproportionate power in the White House and criticized his alignment with controversial policies.
“The decisions being made today will impact generations to come, and we cannot allow billionaires like Elon Musk to dictate the future of democracy,” Wiener stated.
Despite mounting political tensions, protesters remained peaceful. However, in isolated incidents, Tesla owners reportedly removed company branding from their vehicles in an attempt to distance themselves from Musk’s actions.

The Biden administration has not officially commented on the protests, but sources within the White House indicate growing discomfort over Musk’s advisory role.
